Sieben, Grose, Von Holtum & Carey, a Minnesota-based personal injury law firm, announced the election of James Carey as president of the Minnesota Association for Justice on August 16.
The association, open to Minnesota’s trial lawyers, helps its members keep current on emerging topics, issues and trends through seminars, conventions and institutes. Focused on the importance of protecting consumer rights, the MNAJ also impacts critical legislative issues through its effective lobbying efforts.
Carey, a personal injury attorney who has won several big cases, is certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and the Minnesota State Bar Association, which is a distinction awarded to less than two percent of Minnesota’s personal injury attorneys.
