Holden gains recognition
Susan Holden of Brainerd, of the Sieben Grose Von Holtum & Carey law firm, was recognized in the "Super Lawyer" top 40.
Holden recently was honored for the "Outstanding Service to the Profession Award" for her partnership in the Sieben Grose Von Holtum & Carey law firm from "Minnesota Lawyer," where she is being voted this recognition by her peers.
Holden has given numerous volunteer hours to bar associations, including serving as president of the Minnesota State Bar Association. She played a key role in the Minnesota bar's relief effort for Hurricane Katrina victims, helping to raise more than $400,000 and as well bringing in truckloads of office furniture.
She was appointed as the chair of the Special Master Panel that administers compensation for survivors of the I-35W bridge collapse. Holden was one of 25 women recognized in 2005 by "The Business Journal" as the woman to watch in Minnesota's business community and she was selected by "Minnesota Lawyer" as one of the 15 Attorneys of the year in 2005.
