Arthur Kosieradzki Verdicts & Settlements

A Summer Day Turns Tragic

On a summer afternoon, two high school boys decided to go fishing. Neither was an experienced driver, and the fishing spot was out in the country—at the end of a winding gravel road. The inexperienced driver drove too fast on the gravel road, lost control and the vehicle flipped, killing him instantly. Our client, the passenger, sustained a serious head injury and was in a coma. When he regained consciousness, he had a long and difficult rehabilitation.

Our client was a star football player, and was considered one of the top high school players in the state. He had begun getting the attention of major programs that could have given him a scholarship and helped him fulfill his dream of playing football at a higher level. Because of his head injury, he had to end his high school playing career, and his doctors discouraged him from engaging in any more contact sports. He never played football again.

This story does have a good ending, however. The boy made a remarkable recovery, and Art Kosieradzki was successful in recovering his medical expenses…an amount that exceeded $150,000.
