WHS students receive WCCO's Community Spotlight Award

Karen Seashore, art teacher at Woodbury High School, and her cast of students from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, are recipients of WCCO’s Community Spotlight Award. This award features school organizations and teams who are making a difference in their communities. A community member nominated the cast, because of their success in collecting coats for those in need. The group received $500 in recognition of their efforts which they will use to purchase more coats. The award was presented by Jeff Montpettit, a 1991 Woodbury High School Graduate and member of the firm sponsoring the awards. A video narrative was filmed Thursday and will be aired October 28. The Community Spotlight program is sponsored by High School Sports Rally, along with Sieben, Grose, Von Holtum, and Carey, Ltd.
