Recalls: Aromatherapy Kits, Ice Cleats, Play Sets
As I was scanning the papers this morning I noticed that there were a number of products being recalled and I thought I would pass the information on to you. Keeping an eye on recalls is not a bad idea. You never know if one of these products is something you are using. A great resource for checking on recalls is the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. They are the body in charge of the recalls. For information and a recall list, visit their website at http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prerel.html. This one may be worth a bookmark.
In any event, here is what I learned this morning. The following items are being recalled. The link to the article I read which has additional information is http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/2009/01/29/washington/AP-Recalls.html?_r=1.
1) About 516,000 Spa Factory Aromatherapy Fountain & Bath Benefit Kits, made in China by JAKKS Pacific Inc.
2) About 7,000 Stabilizer Lite cleats, made in the U.S. by 32 Degrees North
3) About 3,000 construction play sets, made in China by DDI Inc.
4) About 8,400 Skull-And-Crossbones necklaces, made in China and imported by Spencer Gifts LLC
I hope none of these products have affected you and if you have one it's probably time to deal with the recall instructions.
