Compassion for clients and dedication to achieve fair results
Shannon C. Keil brings her unique understanding of large insurance and healthcare companies - gained through firsthand work experience - to each case. As a 4th generation attorney, Shannon is comfortable taking on corporate giants to help defend the rights of injured people and representing the full spectrum of personal injury and medical malpractice cases.
While obtaining her law degree, Shannon worked as a law clerk at Sieben, Grose, Von Holtum & Carey. She worked on personal injury and medical malpractice cases, including a complex toxic tort case, where she gained valuable experience conducting legal research, identifying potential experts, drafting legal documents and working closely with clients.
Upon becoming an attorney with the firm in 2006, Shannon moved into one of the lead attorney positions in the toxic tort case and for a time, devoted 100% of her practice to this case. She fought for nearly 4 additional years against the large paper company and successfully resolved both the property and personal injury claims for nearly 40 clients. For more information about this settlement see here. Shannon now dedicates her practice to representing individuals injured in accidents and by medical negligence.
Shannon is admitted to practice in the Minnesota State and Federal Bar. She is also certified as a mediator by the Minnesota Supreme Court.
Prior to her legal career, Shannon worked in Human Resources for several large corporations, including one of Minnesota's largest insurance companies and one of the state's largest healthcare networks.
