Jeffrey M. Montpetit

Success Earns Jeff Montpetit Rising Star Status

Jeffrey M. Montpetit is practicing in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, product liability, premises liability, property damage, and insurance litigation.

He graduated from William Mitchell College of Law in 1998, was admitted to the Minnesota State Bar, and then joined Sieben, Grose, Von Holtum & Carey as an associate attorney. Prior to joining the firm as an attorney, Jeffrey was a law clerk to Harry A. Sieben from August 1996 to May 1999.

Jeffrey is consistently named a Rising Star in an annual survey by Minnesota Law & Politics. The publication asks Minnesota's top lawyers to identify an elite group of emerging lawyers, either under the age of 40 or in practice less than 10 years, who demonstrate the highest standards of excellence. Jeffrey is one of only several hundred lawyers in Minnesota chosen as a Rising Star. Jeffrey has earned the distinction of Rising Star for ten years straight (1999-2008).

Jeffrey has helped recover damages for hundreds of injured people by helping them navigate through the complexities of a personal injury claim. His main objective is to protect his clients' rights in negotiations and, if necessary, through trial and appeal. He takes great pride knowing that he and his staff have helped people all over the region get their lives back on track, and his goal is to continue to be a hard-working ethical advocate for the injured people he represents. Jeffrey is licensed to practice in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Minnesota Federal District Court.

A native of Woodbury, Jeffrey lives with his wife and three children in the Twin Cities. He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys spending time with his family.
