Courtroom Skill Earns Jim Carey the Title
of “Super Lawyer”
Jim Carey is a personal injury attorney with a reputation for winning big cases while effectively serving all of his clients. He was chosen to sit on the American Board of Trial Advocates, an elite organization of accomplished trial attorneys. To qualify, an attorney must demonstrate significant courtroom skill and experience, high personal character, and an honorable reputation. He is the President and Managing Partner of Sieben, Grose, Von Holtum & Carey.
Jim holds a seat on the Million Dollar Roundtable, a recognition given only to Minnesota lawyers who have won million-dollar-plus verdicts, and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a national merit organization consisting of approximately 700 of the most accomplished attorneys in America.
Jim is certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by both the National Board of Trial Advocacy and the Minnesota State Bar Association, a distinction awarded to less than 2 percent of all of Minnesota's personal injury attorneys.
Jim is a frequent author and lecturer on personal injury for legal seminars, William Mitchell Law School, and the College of St. Thomas. Minnesota Law & Politics and other publications have consistently named Jim Carey as one of the 40 Top Personal Injury Attorneys in the State. Jim was also voted one of America's best personal injury attorneys for the book The Best Lawyers in America.
Jim Carey assists clients from our Minneapolis and satellite offices as one of our top wrongful death lawyers and personal injury attorneys. Mr. Carey specializes in cases involving auto accidents, medical malpractice, products liability, catastrophic personal injury, and property damage.
