Cory Whalen is a partner and shareholder at the law firm of Sieben, Grose, Von Holtum & Carey. He practices in all areas of personal injury litigation.

Cory has been certified as a life member of both the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.   The Million Dollar Advocates Forum is recognized as one of the most prestigious groups of trial lawyers in the United States. Membership is limited to attorneys who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts, awards and settlements. Founded in 1993, there are approximately 4000 members throughout the country. Fewer than 1% of U.S. lawyers are members.

Cory has also received numerous honors from Minnesota Law & Politics and is a frequent lecturer and author for legal education seminars. He has taught Litigation and Trial Practice at Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Cory graduated from William Mitchell College of Law in 1998 and is admitted to the Minnesota State Bar and United States Federal District Bar. Cory is a native of Rochester, Minnesota. He now lives in the Twin Cities with his wife and children.
