Sieben, Scully selected for inclusion in Best Lawyers in America publication

Seven Sieben, Grose, Von Holtum & Carey attorneys were recently selected by their peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America, including Hastings residents Harry A. Sieben and Michael F. Scully.

They were recognized for their work in the area of personal injury litigation and workers’ compensation.

Sieben was elected to the Minnesota Legislature in 1970 where he rose quickly through the ranks to Speaker of the House, one of the most powerful political positions in the state. During his 14 years in the Legislature, he championed environmental legislation safeguarding the rights of working Minnesotans. He paralleled his business and political success by serving in the U.S. Army and in the Minnesota National Guard. He achieved the rank of Major General. In 2006, he was appointed Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army and serves as an advisor to the U.S. Army.

Scully has achieved success in the areas of workers' compensation, personal injury, and auto accident insurance litigation. He is dedicated to the area of workers' compensation and frequently speaks to labor unions about the rights of injured workers.
