Pedestrian Accidents

Although pedestrians have the “right of way,” thousands are killed and injured every year when someone makes a negligent mistake. Accidents may occur due to driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, inattention or distraction, speeding, not yielding to pedestrians at crosswalks, disobeying traffic laws, and disregarding traffic or weather conditions. Drivers must also take special care around children.
