SiebenCarey is pleased to announce that on October 20, 2012 Paul Schweiger was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, widely considered to be the premier professional trial organization in the U.S. and Canada. Fellowship is extended to experienced trial lawyers who have mastered the art of advocacy and whose careers are marked by the highest standards of ethical conduct.
SELECTED BY PEERS FOR INCLUSION IN THE BEST LAWYERS IN AMERICA
In addition to his fellowship in the American College of Trial Lawyers, Paul has been included in The Best Lawyers in America® 2013, selected by his peers for his work in the practice areas of Plaintiff's Medical Malpractice Law and Plaintiff's Personal Injury Litigation. A consistent and dedicated member of the law community, Schweiger has been listed in Best Lawyers for 10 consecutive years.
Since it was first published in 1983, Best Lawyers has become universally regarded as the definitive guide to legal excellence. The annual Best Lawyers ranking is based on a peer-review survey in which more than 36,000 leading attorneys cast almost 4.4 million votes on the legal abilities of other lawyers in their practice areas. The American Lawyer magazine has called Best Lawyers "the most respected referral list of attorneys in practice."
Seven other SiebenCarey attorneys were included in the 2013 selection including: James Carey, Harry Sieben, John Carey, Susan Holden, Mark Olive, Michael Scully and Cory Whalen.
Licensed in both Minnesota and Wisconsin, Paul is certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and the Minnesota State Bar Association, a distinction awarded to less than 2% of all of Minnesota's attorneys. Paul is the managing partner of SiebenCarey's Duluth office. In recent years he has focused his practice on medical malpractice claims, making him one of only a few plaintiffs' medical malpractice attorneys in northern Minnesota.
