A man pulls into a Taco Bell drive-thru, places his order but never makes it to the pick up window. Instead, his car suddenly accelerates across the restaurant parking lot, sails over a berm, jumps curbs and islands in an adjacent parking lot, and finally smashes into the wall of a grocery store some 450 feet away. The man is found unconscious, seated upright, still buckled in with the air bag deployed. He dies a short time later from a fracture to the base of the skull leaving behind a wife and three small children.
