Background

Amy Wallace is an attorney who represents individuals with medical malpractice and personal injury claims. After obtaining her undergraduate degree, Amy worked for a prominent national medical professional association to improve quality of care and increase patient safety.

While continuing to work full-time, Amy went to law school at night, graduating cum laude from William Mitchell College of Law (now known as Mitchell Hamline School of Law). Since her admission to the bar, Amy has focused her practice on medical malpractice, wrongful death, and personal injury claims, especially those involving complex medical issues.

Amy’s unique path to the profession gives her a singular perspective on the law and unparalleled empathy for her clients. When she was five years old, Amy’s mother began to suffer a debilitating and mysterious illness. Amy knows how frightening and confusing America’s health care system can be, and how devastating a major illness or injury can be to a family. Amy is honored to be able to guide her clients through the challenges of a medical malpractice or other personal injury claims.

Amy is an Adjunct Professor at Mitchell Hamline School of Law, where she teaches Medical Malpractice. She is admitted to practice in the Minnesota State Courts and in the State of North Dakota.
