Mark has been protecting the rights of injured workers both in the courtroom and at the legislature for over 30 years. As a former co-chair of the Minnesota Association for Justice workers' compensation committee from 1993 to 2000 and a current active member, he has lobbied against regular attempts by the business community to reduce workers' compensation benefits for Minnesota's injured workers.
Mark is also a friend of organized labor and speaks frequently to union and other employee groups about a range of issues affecting the health and safety of working men and women. He has developed an in-depth understanding of the Union Construction Workers' Compensation Program, which administers many of the Work comp cases for injured workers in the construction trades.
