Our client, a minister, was injured while playing basketball on a youth retreat. The property owner failed to properly maintain the wooden gym floor and as a result the gym floor had buckled. Our client suffered a severe leg fracture and other injuries when she ran over the buckled portion of the gym floor.

Robert Brabbit filed a claim against the property owner and secured a settlement exclusive of workers’ compensation benefits. He also filed a workers’ compensation case and won benefits including wage loss, medical bills, permanent partial disability and retraining benefits.
