A 47 year old man, a volunteer and Patriot rider, was killed in a motorcycle accident when another car pulled out in front of him in heavy traffic.

A Hastings teenager stopped to change a flat tire for a stranded motorist on the narrow median shoulder on Interstate 94 just east of the Mississippi River. Trying to avoid a traffic backup, the defendant pulled into the median area and hit the back of the stranded Ford Explorer. The defendant's car landed on our client. Numerous motorists stopped and pulled the defendant's car off our client. He died from his injuries a day later.

Our client was riding his Harley Davidson west on Highway 12. He saw the defendant stopped at the intersection and as he went by, she turned into him, striking him on the left side of his motorcycle. As a result of the collision, he crushed 3 bones in his left foot and fractured the ankle. He had two surgeries and has permanent injuries from the accident.

An Eden Prairie woman was the victim of a car accident as she was traveling through an intersection on a green light. She was struck by an oncoming vehicle that made a left turn in front of her on a yellow light. Then she was pushed into a third vehicle in the intersection. Two gentlemen at the scene helped our client out of her vehicle as it was leaking gas. She was taken to the hospital by ambulance and treated for fractured wrist, bruising and soreness. Our client’s nine year old son was a passenger in the vehicle and was also taken to the hospital, treated and released.

Our client is a hardworking cement mason living in northern Minnesota who was riding his Harley Davidson one spring day. He does not remember the facts of the accident. According to the accident report, our client was traveling westbound on a city street; the defendant driver was traveling eastbound from a parking lot onto the same roadway. The defendant driver failed to yield the right of way and turned in front of our client's motorcycle, causing the collision. Our client sustained a broken tibia and fibula with rod and plates surgically placed. He had a shattered hip socket that required surgery to insert screws and plates. Our client's medical bills exceeded $180,000.

Our client was a passenger in a vehicle driven by a friend. The driver overcompensated while making a left turn on a gravel road and lost control, and smashed into a concrete sign. Our client sustained a displaced cervical fracture requiring surgical intervention. After months of recovery, our client was able to get back to full function. The case settled for the $100,000 liability limits and the $50,000 underinsured limits.

Icy roads caused a collision for our client. Our client and her husband were traveling to Colorado to spend time at Christmas with relatives. She was a passenger in a vehicle at the time of a side impact collision to the passenger side. Her case was ultimately a battle with her own insurance company that required Jeffrey Sieben to take this case to court because she was offered only $15,000 to settle the case prior to her trial.

Our client was a school bus driver who was involved in a very tragic accident. A 16 year old boy lost control of his vehicle and crossed into the bus's lane of traffic. After first hitting a pick-up truck, the boy's vehicle was directly in front of our client's school bus and he had no option to avoid the collision. As a result, the school bus broadsided the boy's vehicle. The 16 year old driver was killed in the accident and his 15 year old brother was severely injured.

Our client was a 38 year old police officer who was off-duty when his vehicle was rear-ended at a high speed. There was significant property damage to both of the vehicles involved in the collision. Our client received back injuries.

A semi truck barreling down the highway was passed by a state trooper who clocked him speeding. The trooper slowed to turn around to pursue the truck and witnessed the truck go around a corner too fast, cross the center line with the trailer and hit our client's minivan. Our client's minivan was knocked off the road and our client received significant neck, low back and left leg injuries.
