A young woman was injured when a man in a pick up truck ran a red light and T-boned her car, directly in to the driver-side door. She lost consciousness and her head hit the side window hard enough to shatter it. She was taken to the emergency room with severe injuries, including head, chest, jaw, hip, knee and foot injuries. She had lacerations along the left side of her face.

The Christmas Eve that hosted this accident was anything but silent and calm. Icy roads produced treacherous driving conditions and a semi overturned in the middle of the freeway. Our client was jogging and pushing her 11 month old daughter in a stroller in a roundabout near downtown Lakeville, MN. As they were crossing one traffic lane, a negligent driver hit the stroller and ripped it from the mother’s hands. The stroller was thrown 30-40 feet down the road bouncing end over end and landed on its wheels. Amazingly the baby remained strapped inside the stroller but received two skull fractures and a concussion. She was rushed to Children’s Hospital and treated there.
