ATV Accidents On The Rise
A couple of months ago, I described the seriousness of safety when driving a motorcycle and vigilance with regard to motorcyclists when you are driving a motor vehicle. I illustrated the increase in motorcycle accidents this year, already doubled from those of the year previous. What, then, of ATV accidents?
This link describes an increase in Wisconsin for ATV crashes affiliated with—sadly—the deaths of minors. Even here in Minnesota we are experiencing increased ATV crashes this year and, unfortunately, some of these crashes involve children as well.
Remember that safety and vigilance should be a natural part of an every-day routine, especially when driving. Be it a car, truck, boat or all-terrain vehicle, accidents can happen any time.
