Background

Cory Whalen is a partner and shareholder at the law firm of SiebenCarey. He practices in all areas of personal injury litigation.

He was selected as one of America's best lawyers in the area of product liability litigation by The Best Lawyers of America. Selection to The Best Lawyers of America is based on an exhaustive and rigorous peer-review survey comprised of more than four million confidential evaluations by the top attorneys in the country.

Cory is certified as a life member of both the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.   The Million Dollar Advocates Forum is recognized as one of the most prestigious groups of trial lawyers in the United States. Membership is limited to attorneys who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts, awards and settlements. Fewer than one percent of U.S. lawyers are members.

Cory is also a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, an elite organization of accomplished trial attorneys whose qualifications require demonstrated significant courtroom skill and experience, high personal character, and an honorable ethical reputation.

Every year since 2014, Cory has been selected as a Minnesota Super Lawyer honoree. Super Lawyer honorees are selected from an annual survey and the distinction is bestowed on less than five percent of Minnesota's practicing attorneys.

In addition to representing his clients, Cory is a frequent lecturer and author for legal education seminars. He has taught Litigation and Trial Practice at Hamline University in St. Paul. He is admitted to the Minnesota State Bar and United States Federal District Bar.

Icy roads produced treacherous driving conditions and a semi overturned in the middle of the freeway. Our client, behind the semi, managed to stop without incident. However, our client's vehicle was struck while stopped, first by a car that came around the bend and was unable to stop and then by a second semi that slid on the icy roads and crashed in to our client's vehicle.

Why I Became a
Know Your Rights
Personal Injury Attorney

I like a good challenge. For me, enjoying Minnesota winters means hitting the ski slopes and tackling the “black diamond” runs. I just don’t back down from the tough stuff. That same drive is why I became a personal injury attorney and have practiced at SiebenCarey for my entire career. When I’m handling a case, I look forward to taking on insurance companies and their lawyers so my clients aren’t worrying about legal issues. I handle the tough stuff so they can move forward in life.

In need of a personal injury attorney? Well you're if you're reading this you're in the right place. You'd be hard pressed to find more competent attorneys than the ones here at SiebenCarey.

They took my case to trial and an amazing job presenting the facts and fighting for my best interests! Three years ago I was unsure of what my future would bring; now that it's over I can rest a bit easier. With SiebenCarey as my counsel, I believe I had the absolute BEST representation a person could've asked for. I knew that I wanted the absolute best representation when searching for an attorney to handle my case and I most definitely received it.

If you need a personal injury attorney, look no further. Can't recommend highly enough.

My boyfriend was hit by a car and while all the attorneys he talked to said he didn't have much chance of a case, SiebenCarey took him on and gave him a fighting chance. He's still recovering, but SiebenCarey is making it a lot easier.
